How Assignments Work

ICWOA works with multiple regional conferences that utilize ICWOA members to officiate events throughout the season.

  • ICWOA maintains relationships with conferences.
  • Qualified ICWOA members may be considered for assignments.
  • Individual assigners are responsible for assigning officials to the conferences and schools for which they are responsible.
  • Officials interested in assignments should contact the appropriate assigner directly.

Who Is Eligible to Be Considered

To be considered for assignments through the ICWOA network, an official must:

  • Be a paid ICWOA member for the current membership year.
  • Be a member in good standing with the ICWOA.
  • Maintain the professional standards and expectations of the association.
  • Meet any additional requirements established by the individual conference, tournament, or assigning organization.

Assignments depend on factors such as:

  • Needs of the conference
  • Availability
  • Qualifications
  • Geographic considerations
  • Working together with the mentorship program
  • Development
  • Conference-attendance priority
  • Discretion of the appropriate assigner

Schools Covered / Find Your Assigner

Search for a school or conference to immediately see which ICWOA assigner covers it, along with their phone number and a direct email contact. You don't need to know the conference first — search by school name and the conference and assigner will appear.
